Decades of Experience

With over 22 years in the land surveying business, 16 years of 3D scanning and modeling expertise, and 3 years of UAV experience, we offer a solution-oriented, innovative approach to meet our client’s needs.   Our licensed UAV pilots’ qualifications also include four different FEMA damage assessment certifications and thermography certification, among others.

The Darling Geomatics team helps your project stay on course and on budget by reducing the time spent collecting millions of accurate survey data points from days or weeks to one brief flight.

Accurate Deliverables in Any Format

Whether your job takes us deep beneath the surface of the earth or high in the air, Darling Geomatics is uniquely qualified to safely and accurately provide the data you need in whatever format you request: point clouds, 3D solid, Revit, 2D and 3D CAD, Leica TruViews, fly throughs, videos and more. Survey grade ground control and fixed wing and quadcopter drones acquire latitude, longitude, and elevation (x, y, and z) data accurate to within +/- 3 – 6 cm (1.2 - 2 in).

Deliverables in any format

Our drone surveying experts Arizona and throughout the United States can deliver data in any CAD, non-CAD, 2D and/or 3D format you require:

  • Point clouds
  • 2D CAD topographic maps
  • FLIR radiometric (thermal) images, videos and maps

“When delineating flood risk or floodplain limits for design purposes we are using multi-dimensional analysis in our hydraulic modeling software packages. Our inputs to our models require a true depiction of the terrain to give accurate results and that starts with a good foundation. True color digital orthomosiac images and photogrammetry data delivered from the UAV flights by Darling Geomatics have proven to be a comparable depiction of the terrain that previously was only available with an airplane flight, only more timely. We have found that the UAV generated aerial photographs and digital topographic data is more cost effective for our clients as well.”
