Mary Darling Serves as Ambassador at Goldman Sachs Small Businesses Summit

Mary Darling, Darling Geomatics CEO and Principal Owner, will serve as an Arizona ambassador at Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit to be held July 18-20 in Washington, D.C. The Summit will be the largest gathering of small business owners in the U.S.

Mary Darling graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses  program in 2019 and was appointed as a program ambassador for Arizona in 2021. In this role, she is a liaison between Goldman Sachs program managers and Arizona alumni. Ambassadors advocate for alumni and for public policy that supports small businesses. Mary will meet with Arizona’s elected officials as part of the Summit.

As an award-winning small business, community builder, Woman-owned Small Business, and Women’s Business Enterprise, supporting and connecting small businesses is a priority for us.

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program provides business education, support services and pathways to capital for growth-oriented entrepreneurs. Participants gain practical skills to take their business to the next level by developing an actionable growth plan for their business with the help of advisors and a network of like-minded entrepreneurs. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses has served over 12,000 businesses in all 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.

The Summit provides a space for alumni from across the country to get inspired, create community, and make change. Speakers will include Warren Buffett, Mike Bloomberg, Gwyneth Paltrow and Marcus Samuelsson, and many others. The Summit program will include content sessions, industry and regional networking opportunities, and access to policymakers.
