Join Darling Geomatics and the FAA to learn about drones at the Navajo Nation!
Hosted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Pacific Region, FAA UAS Integration office and the Navajo Nation DOT.
Through a series of panel discussions, lectures and demonstrations, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will showcase the societal, economic and educational benefits of drones at the Navajo Nation DOT located on the Arizona / New Mexico border.
Presenters include Rich and Mary Darling from Darling Geomatics, who plan to share their drone experiences working on construction projects with the Tohono O'Odham Nation, their drone curricula contributions with JTED, and as time allows, participate in a drone demo on the last day.
Perfect for emergency responders, local government, educators and students, admission to the event is free and attendees can purchase lunch while on site. Drone demonstrations are planned for each day!
