Presenters include Mary Darling, Darling Geomatics, and Alex Dely, Raytheon Missile Systems who will discuss the relevant applications of digital twins and AI for military bases.

Alex Dely, a Contracts Manager with Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Tucson, was born and raised in Gent, Belgium, immigrating to the U.S. in 1976, and becoming a citizen in 1983. He did his undergraduate work in engineering physics at Illinois State University, and the University of Chicago, and doctoral work at the University of Arizona Graduate School in Physics. At Raytheon, Alex serves as a Contracts Manager, with a focus on Value Engineering, Adjacent Markets, and IDIQ Contract Vehicles throughout Raytheon Missile Systems. Within RMS, he supports the Enabling Technologies and Advanced Materials, the Advanced Air Warfare Systems, and the Advanced Integrated Kill Chain Directorates.
Mary Darling, cofounder of Darling Geomatics with her husband, Rich, has grown the company into an award-winning, global, high-tech 3D surveying company headquartered in Arizona. Darling Geomatics has been successful and has grown into a multi-million dollar technology company with projects in six foreign countries on 3 continents as well as virtually all fifty states here in the USA. Mary is an FAA licensed commercial drone pilot and she travels across the country and internationally to help implement a wide variety of high-tech projects. Mary is actively involved in workforce development, including her participation with the Pima County's Workforce Investment Board, her membership on the Pima JTED Business Council and as an annual workshop presenter at SheTech, a high school program to encourage careers in STEM.
