Join Mary Darling from Darling Geomatics at the International Slope Stability 2022 Symposium in Tucson, Arizona! On October 18, Mary will be hosting the “Wine and Rocks Excursion” wine-tasting tour through several vineyards in Southern Arizona. As the tour heads south from Tucson, you’ll be inspired by the Sky Islands stunning beauty as you learn about the local viticulture in Sonoita, Arizona.
Registrants will travel by charter bus to the heart of Arizona wine country to the first stop at Flying Leap Vineyards and Distillery, where 18 different varietals are grown in their vineyards. Later, head to Rune Wines, the only solar-powered and off-grid tasting room and vineyard in Arizona. In addition to wine-tasting, a gourmet lunch (complete with locally made desserts) and a souvenir wine glass is included with your registration. Both vineyards are set against the backdrop of the scenic Mustang Mountains.
